Eligibility Criteria

  • The date for reckoning age and all other eligibility criteria is 28.01.2026 (last date of receiving online applications).
  • Candidates must have passed CA(Inter) /CMA (Inter). or A Bachelor's degree in any subject from a UGC-recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks is required. 
  • A three-year LLB or five-year integrated Law/LLB course with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA is also an eligibility requirement. 
  • Candidates must possess degrees/qualifications from AICTE approved / UGC recognized Universities/Deemed Universities; courses of Autonomous Institutions must be equivalent to relevant courses approved/recognized by AIU/UGC/AICTE.
  • Where CGPA/OGPA or letter grade is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated as per norms adopted by the respective University/Institute, and a certificate to this effect will be required at the time of interview.

Salary/Stipend

  • E-1: Rs 40,000 - 1,40,000
  • E-2: Rs 50,000- 1,60,000

Age Limit 

  • 37 years for SC and ST candidates.

Selection Process

  • Based on credentials and documents uploaded during online registration, preliminary scrutiny of the applications will be carried out by NRL.
  • Candidates found eligible after scrutiny will be notified in the NRL Career portal to attend the Personal Interview; no email/SMS/phone calls will be made in this regard.
  • Candidates attending the Personal Interview must first undergo document verification and produce all requisite original documents; only those clearing document verification will be allowed to appear in the Personal Interview.
  • Candidates failing to produce original documents establishing eligibility for the post will be immediately disqualified and not allowed to appear in the Personal Interview.
  • The prescribed qualification is the minimum and mere possession of the same or appearance in Personal Interview does not entitle a candidate to selection; only eligible and suitable candidates as per NRL’s decision will be considered.

  • Candidates must apply online through the NRL Career portal on the official website www.nrl.co.in within the specified dates.
  • Candidates must first register on the portal with a valid email ID and mobile number, which should remain valid for at least one year as they will be used for further communication.
  • After completing the registration process with all requisite information, candidates will receive an enrolment number on their registered email ID within 1–2 days, which must be used for all further communications.
  • Candidates should submit only one application against one post; in case of multiple registrations for the same post, the latest registration will be treated as final and earlier ones rejected without notice.
