Vacancy details: Reservations for Probationary Officer

JMGS-I Means – Junior Management Grade Scale I

1. Qualification:Graduation with First Class with 60% [SC/ST/PWD candidates – 55%].
2. Job Profile: General Banking, House keeping, Supervisory functions etc and any other work assigned by the Bank from time to time.

COMPUTER LITERACY: Operating computer systems in MS-DOS, MS Windows, Basic concepts of Networking & Connectivity, MS Office [Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail etc.] shall be an essential qualification, which a candidate must either possess or acquire within 6 months from the date of joining the Bank.

HINDI KNOWLEDGE: The candidates shall acquire working knowledge of Hindi, if not possessed already, before completion of probationary period.

Salary : Rs.10000-470/6-12820-500/3-14320-560/7-18240

Probationary Officer Examination Recruitment Process:

Selection Procedure: Written Test + Interview

The written test shall consist of Objective Test & Descriptive Test. The details of test are as follows;

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in Objective Test. The Descriptive Test is only for qualifying purpose. Bank will decide the minimum cut-off marks for each subject as well as Total Weighted Score [TWS]. Depending on the number of vacancies, such of those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit in the written test as per the cut off marks decided by the Bank will only be called for interview.

Maximum marks for Interview is 100 for Probationary Officer.

The final selection for the above posts shall be on the basis of performance in Written Test and Interview.

Probation : 2 years

SECURITY DEPOSIT [for Probationary Officer]:
The selected candidates for the post of Probationary Officers have to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- at the time of joining as Security Deposit. Candidates have to serve for a minimum period of 2 years.
