Ltd Linux Administrator (L1/L2) Job Description Linux system administrator needs to perform the following responsibilities: 1) Must have experience on any 2 flavors of Linux operating systems 2) Basic understanding of NIS,LDAP or any other authentication system/s 3) Installation & maintenance of desktops, workstations & servers and attending day-to-day user related issues. 4) Designing, implementation and maintenance of Linux based Network, inclusive of all Networking Hardware & Software support. 5) Installation and update of operating system and other software. 6) Configuring & maintaining user,e-mail accounts, permissions,etc. 7) Perform systems monitoring & management on a regular basis. 8 ) Troubleshooting of basic server Hardware (Dell,IBM,HP range) Qualifications : BE/ B.Sc/ BCA/ MCA 1-2 years of experience as a System Administrator or Linux administrator handling more than 50 Linux systems in an environment. Any certifications related to Linux system administration is preferable. Strong problem resolution, identification, judgment and decision making skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
